Yoga Source will be holding it’s next teachers training in October 2008. It runs one weekend a month until June 2009. This course is for students with a goal to enhance their practice for personal purpose or with a focus to teach. It is also for teachers who wish to further their learning. Amy has been practicing massage therapy since 2006. She specializes in deep tissue, pregnancy massage, trigger point therapy, and repetitive strain injuries. Amy also has experience in Craniosacral therapy, fascial release, and equine massage. She feels we live in a time where life becomes so hectic we lose touch with our physical bodies and massage therapy is a wonderful way to bring awareness back to ourselves.Amy will be starting in May, and is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese kanji for universal life-force energy.Reiki is a Japanese holistic, light-touch, energy-based modality. Working as a support mechanism to the body, Reiki re-establishes a normal energy flow of ki (life force energy) throughout the system, which in turn can enhance and accelerate the body’s innate healing ability. Through a series of hand positions either directly on or just above the body, the energy worker allows for the flow of energy through heir body. The client’s body then draws off the amount of energy that is required.
Reiki is simple and produces measurable results. It is power, light and love.
