Many woman are uncomfortable with the idea of breast massage, yet it can be highly effective in treating a number of conditions affecting breast tissue, and chest and torso muscles:
Congestion, swelling and discomforts associated with pregnancy, breastfeeding and weaning, PMS symptoms, and lymphatic disorders; treatment of scarring and tissue changes associated with trauma, surgery and cancer treatment; the introduction of safe touch; it is part of a complete chest and torso massage; and, regularly done, it provides monitoring of breast tissue.
Overcoming personal discomfort with your own breasts can have multiple benefits to your physical health; and many of the techniques used can be done while the breast tissue is still covered. The safe environment provided by a massage therapist familiar with the techniques will make your first experience with breast massage a pleasant one.

Breast massage really is healthy. it helps drain all the fluids out and increase circulation. If you would like to learn how, there is a breast massage DVD that was created by a professional massage therapist that I really like. It is called Therapeutic Breast Massage. It is designed for massage therapists, but he explains everything so well that I learned to do it myself.
